I've worked with Integrated for five years now, on some of the most challenging and ground-breaking projects in the Brownfields industry. From the very beginning, Integrated has impressed me with their technical sophistication, analytical expertise and negotiating prowess. Equally important, though, is their ability and focus to close the deal.

Integrated has earned a reputation as a tough negotiator, because they always deal from strength, with the client's best interests in the forefront. Their real skill, however, is that they know exactly how much to push and how much to back off. They understand the dynamics of the entire project, from the cost of remedial technologies to the expectations of agencies and concerns of prospective buyers. It is this broad knowledge of the entire process, coupled with their commitment to fulfilling the client's goals while meeting his responsibilities, that makes Integrated so valuable during all phases of the transaction - especially during the site closure and sale.

Of course, Integrated's strength during sales negotiations stems directly from the rock-solid technical foundation they lay during the project planning phase and the innovation and efficiency they bring to the execution phase. Time and again, they produce new ideas and approaches that cut remedial schedules and costs while meeting all regulatory requirements. The most obvious example of this is their work at the former Golden Eagle Refinery, a project that has been cited in the Congressional Record. Largely through Integrated's innovative, risk-based closure approach, the state approved a three-fold increase in soil cleanup levels - the first such approval at a state Superfund site. The resultant reduction in the volume of excavated soil saved the client an estimated $3 million.

In moving into such Quotes from Client unchartered waters, Integrated depends on an uncanny ability to communicate complex technical and scientific information effectively with regulators and laymen alike. They know the importance of explaining complex technical issues so that all audiences understand the implications of their findings. This allows them to demonstrate to everyone's satisfaction the effectiveness and, most importantly, the health protectiveness of their solutions. I have always been impressed by Integrated's ability to ease the concerns of project opponents and thus diffuse potentially volatile or even openly hostile situations. They consistently turn opponents into backers.
