Staff Biologist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

TECHNICAL SKILL SET:

  • Biological Assessments and Biological Preliminary Plans
  • Wetland delineation
  • Species/habitat studies
  • GPS and ArcGIS
  • CWA permit application and permit compliance
  • USFWS Interaction

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in working as biologist in the field
  • Experience working on DoD projects will be considered a plus
  • Experience providing biological support to construction projects is a plus

We are seeking candidates for work assignment at Beale Air Force Base, Beale AFB, California 95903 (Code: 61BAFB). When responding, please designate the Code of the work assignment location for which you are applying.

This position is an initial 8-month assignment starting in October 2009 with potential for extension depending upon project duration. Position is dependent upon company’s contract with the client. Salary commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package is offered.
